On meeting with Gary Fox, he was very approachable and he listened to our wants and needs in a home. He gave us a large list of homes to review and decide which ones we would like to see. We narrowed the list down to 12 houses. We begun our adventure of house hunting on an early Saturday morning (yes the weekend, when Mr. Fox could of been spending his day with his family and relaxing as most of us weekday workers do. But no he was there excited to show us homes of our dreams.) As we went house to house discussing our likes and dislikes wants and needs. Gary made suggestions of removing some of the houses off of our list, knowing that they weren't really what we were looking for and adding a house that he thought might be better suited. After our long morning and early afternoon round of looking at houses. We narrowed the list down to three houses that we liked. Deciding on the one that we liked best we made an offer on the home. Gary drew up the paperwork lickety split and the offer was in. To our discouragement there were two other offers on the same house and ours was rejected. Gary gave us encouraging words of wisdom that there were plenty of houses out there and he was sure that we would find one that we would like even better. This is when Gary really earned our respect. He was there answering calls and emails all hours of the day and on into the evening. Making us feel like we were his only clients and that he was doing everything he could to help find us a home. This went on through the whole process of us finding the right home. The following week a house came back up on the market and voila, we were back to making an offer on a new home. There was some negotiations with a little back and forth on the pricing. The offer was accepted and we move on to the inspection faze of buying a home. Gary was great in finding us a wonderful inspector to come and inspect the house. To our dismay there were quite a few issues that we were not expecting in having for such a newer home, back to negotiations. Gary was right on top of it all, filing the paperwork and discussing things with the other realtor to try and make this work for us all. But things didn't work out with this home as well. Gary was there encouraging us and telling us not to get discouraged once again. He had the perfect home that wasn't yet listed on the market and asked if we wanted to take a look. The first house we made an offer on had the fantastic views of Mount St. Helens and Mount Rainer that I so dearly loved. The second house that we made an offer on was nestled in the trees with lots of privacy that my husband was wanting. This third home had it all the views the trees for privacy a little property to go with it and we fell totally in love, it felt that it was made just for us. Everything fell right into place the offer was made and accepted the inspection went through with no issues raised the appraisal was done and the loan went through. We did it we bought our Home and Gary was there through it all. He made the process seem so easy. We now not only have a great realtor that we will recommend to any one wanting to buy a home. I had been contemplating selling this home for a few months, and when I finally decided to go ahead on the venture, I contacted Stan Giske to handle the sale. I have known Stan for years and knew that he would do a fine job for me. I contacted Stan, and he arranged to meet me at the house almost immediately. After looking the place over, he suggested a few items that needed attention to make the place look even better and set me up with someone who could do the job. With that arrangement made, my wife and I left town for two weeks. When we returned I found that the person Stan had suggested had done an excellent job, and Stan and I sat down to discuss the details of the sale. At no time did I feel pressured to list the house, and after several meetings where my questions were answered, I decided to list it. Three days later we had an offer that we thought was too low,and Stan helped me with a counter-offer that was accepted the next day. The inspection noted just a few items that needed attention, and once again Stan knew of someone who could handle the job. Those items were corrected in short order and the sale proceeded onward. Everything went so quickly that the lending institution needed some additional time before closing; I don't know if this is typical, but Stan counseled me at every juncture of the sale, and the house closed in a timely manner. Stan exhibited the highest standard in professionalism and attention to detail. I can tell that he enjoys his job, and I can't help but think that he treats every client with as much care and concern as he showed me.
